Overview

How are tokens calculated?

Token count is based on both input and output text. More text processed means higher token consumption:

  • Larger cell references increase token usage
  • Longer outputs from AI functions increase token usage

The more text referenced or generated in your spreadsheet, the higher your token count will be.

Does my email need to match my Google account?

No. You can use any email address when creating an AI Sheets account. Your license code can be activated regardless of which email you use.

Do I need to activate on every device?

Your license code only needs to be activated once and will work on all your devices going forward. However, you do need to activate AI Sheets in each individual spreadsheet by:

  1. Going to the Menu Bar
  2. Selecting Extensions → AI Sheets → Launch

Remember:

  • License activation is a one-time process
  • Spreadsheet activation is required for each new document

How can I make the image bigger when using GPTIMAGE?

You can adjust the row height to accommodate larger images. Select the row, right-click, and choose "Resize row" to make it bigger. This will allow the generated images to display at a larger size.

Do I need to be the owner of the Google Sheets to use AI Sheets?

Yes, you need to be the owner of the Google Sheets document to use AI Sheets. If you're not the owner, you can make a copy of the document (which will make you the owner of the new copy) and then launch AI Sheets on your copy.

Can I use AI Sheets with existing data in my spreadsheets?

Yes, AI Sheets formulas can reference existing data in your spreadsheets using cell references.
